As one of Trinity Market’s longest-serving traders, Janet has seen her regular customers grow up, and bring their own children into the market for a taste of Key Snacks’ hot and cold sandwiches, full breakfasts, snacks, cakes, scones and drinks. She started as a Saturday girl, and eventually bought the business. The secret to the best-selling sausage meat and egg sandwiches, she says, is that the sausage meat is made especially for Key Snacks’ customers at a wholesalers in Hedon Road, Hull.
