The funeral of Paul (Jacko) Jackson will take place in accordance with his wishes on Friday 1st May 2026 at Chanterlands Avenue Crematorium Large Chapel.

The service will begin at 1.30pm. There will be no dress code, wear whatever makes you feel good. The cortège will leave The New Adelphi Club at 1.10pm and make the short journey down De Grey Street, Newland Avenue and Goddard Avenue to the Crematorium.

We are aware that Paul's family, friends and admirers could fill a stadium. A grand religious affair with trumpets and a light show were not Paul's wishes. It's likely the Chapel's humble capacity will be easily exceeded. Not wanting to exclude anyone, the service will be live streamed outside the chapel, online for public access and also streamed live in The People's Republic on Newland Avenue.

The family have requested no flowers. Donations can be made to The New Adelphi Club Community Interest Company, Dove House Hospice or The Freshwater Habitats Trust.
