After 44 years the organizers of the Scunthorpe Rock Open, probably the North of Englands longest running battle of the Bands competition, have decided to take it on the road! This inaugural Scunthorpe Rock Open Showcase show features three great original bands from the 2025 competition, that the organizers think you'll thoroughly enjoy watching, and listening to…

Future Theory is an alternative rock band from Lincolnshire, England, known for their psychedelic and ambient influences. They formed in 2016 and released their debut EP, "Fool's Dream," followed by a self-titled debut album in 2022.". The band blends various genres like grunge, indie, post-punk, and alt-rock guitar sounds to create a unique style.

Suburban Toys is a Lincoln based Punk Ska band who have been around for a few years. They have been compared to Millie Manders & The Shut Up, Dance Hall Crashers, The Kingpins, and Interrupters amongst others…though the band themselves don't actually see this comparison. Often said to be too punk for ska, and too ska for punk, the band like to think of themselves caught somewhere awkwardly in between!

The Dominos are a 5-piece indie/alternative rock band from Scunthorpe. The group have evolved into an indie powerhouse, releasing a strong discography of tunes online.
