About

An exploration of nature's ever-changing atmosphere and landscapes through the eyes of a wide range of artistic mediums.

In 'The Changing Seasons' members of the celebrated East Riding Artists group share their creative insights, inspirations and interpretations of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter, bringing their own unique concepts into this exploration of nature and its subtle stages of transformation.

Spring: The awakening of nature, fresh light, pastel colours and optimism.

Summer: Nature in full bloom, sunshine and heat, long days and holidays.

Autumn: Harvest time, nature's bounty, shortening days, mellow light and nights drawing in.

Winter: Cold and dormant, nature sleeping, stark landscapes and quiet rejuvenation

This collection of works represents the way in which artists respond to these changes and what the seasons mean to them.
