The Jackets
Just when you thought garage rock was over, The Jackets have resurrected it and propelled it into the future with their own version and blend of '60s punk and psychedelia. With their four albums, exciting music videos and energetic live shows, the Swiss trio led by frontman Jackie Brutsche have built up a large and loyal fan base worldwide since 2008.

Charismatic singer and guitarist Jackie Brutsche (aka Jack Torera) is a wild, androgynous, elemental force. With her inimitable voice, fuzz guitar and strong stage presence, she has everyone under her spell. With the uncompromising groove and rhythm section of Chris Rosales on drums and Samuel Schmidiger on bass, the Jackets are the perfect trio: direct, authentic, dangerous and great fun !

The members of The Jackets are not only musicians: they also work in film, theater and art, which they express in their artwork and music videos, among other things.

Since 2009, The Jackets have released four full-length albums (vinyl and CD), three 7″ vinyl singles, are represented on numerous compilations and have worked with labels such as Voodoo Rhythm Records, Chaputa! Records, Soundflat Records and others. In 2017, the band teamed up with producer and musician King Khan (King Khan & The Shrines), who produced their two LP albums, which were mixed and mastered by Jim Diamond (White Stripes). In 2021, The Jackets formed their own independent label Wild Noise Records.
