The Utopia Strong is a British electronic/psychedelic trio formed in 2018 by former snooker champion Steve Davis, Kavus Torabi (Gong, Cardiacs), and Michael J. York (Coil, Teleplasmiste), creating "medical grade" music with modular synths, traditional instruments, and left-field grooves. Known for hallucinatory soundscapes and improvisational roots, they blend analogue synthesis with psych-rock elements, releasing albums like The Utopia Strong (2019) and International Treasure (2022).
