About

Urinetown the Musical takes places in a dystopian future where a 20-year-drought has caused a severe water shortage. Urine Good Company – a corrupt corporation – controls the use of public toilets in order to conserve water.

The citizens must pay to use these amenities and anyone who refuses to is sent to the dreaded and mysterious place called "Urinetown".

Bobby Strong, a kind employee at Amenity #9, leads a rebellion against UGC and its CEO, Caldwell B. Cladwell, but also manages to fall in love with his daughter, Hope Cladwell. Will Bobby lead the people to freedom or get flushed away by Cladwell's forces?
